Some of the flowers are in my yard but most are in the mountains around my home. This particular columbine was in Maroon Bells, near Aspen, last week. The wild flowers seem to be at their peak up there. I love going to a bit of a higher elevation as the flower season is later than down here at 6,000 feet! The hike last week was at 9,500 -10,000 feet. It was so beautiful... Have you ever been up there?
