Today we celebrate what would have been Dr. King's 80th birthday on Jan. 15. There is much to celebrate this year, Dr. King. I can see you now, sitting around a table with, among others, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, and Jesus himself, saying a prayer of thanksgiving that we are taking yet another step towards peace. Lay your hands on the shoulders of the man who will be inaugurated tomorrow as our 44th president; help him maintain his calm strength and peace as he continues this incredible journey.

Happy Birthday, Dr. King
