We are in the process of having one of the bedrooms, formerly occupied by a daughter, remodeled. I'm not fond of the process at all, having people in our house doing all of the work. On the other hand, it would take us forever to do it ourselves, so....... The man working right now is the same man who worked on our last project, so that's nice. But still, someone is in our house! (I think that's my "fiveness" rearing it's ugly head.)

I have never had a place remodeled BUT I have endured the building of three homes (this last one with a totally custom builder) and for several MONTHS after we moved in I had a least one guy and often several guys in the house all day long. It is a wonder I didn't have a breakdown! I HATE...yes HATE having a "STRANGER" in my house. Do I have some stories on this subject?! (Ask me about "Byron" sometime) We will have to talk on the phone about this subject...after your "guest" is gone, of course! At any rate, I feel for you! Whatever being a "five" is I must have it in spades!
