Today is the 131st birthday of Colorado. Looking through my photos I couldn't decide which one would be most symbolic of our state. And then I came across the following shot, from the John Denver Sanctuary in Aspen-- my favorite Colorado song.
"And the Colorado Rocky Mountain high;
I've seen it rainin' fire in the sky.
You can talk to God and listen to the casual reply;
Rocky Mountain high Colorado."
